"DISC POLYFLOW VALVE" Model BT-DD

The disc polyflow valve is a valve developed with the intention of ensuring wider flow control range by alleviating noise and vibration by way of suppressing and dispersing the development of cavitation with a tunnel orifice provided on the outside surface of the valve disc.

Emergency Shut-Off Butterfly Valves

When such an emergency should arise as an earthquake or earth-avalanche damaging pipelines or their deterioration in use, Kurimoto's emergency shut-off valve would not only automatically, safely and quickly shut off the affected pipeline, thereby securing the valuable water supply, but preclude the secondary disaster from effluent.
The emergency shut-off valve comprises a valve body, locking device, self-closing device(weight), hydraulic shock absorber, actuator etc., and the valve body is fabricated in conformity with JIS-B-2064 Butterfly valve for water service. It has a valve closing system including a line abnomality detector, also provided with a control panel incorporating the system operationcheck function for normal operation.

The smooth unobstructed waterway, it provides minimum head loss through the valve.
There are no pockets to collect debris.
When compressed to a drop-tight shut-off, this valve is designed all compression - no wedging or sliding, so that no sliding or shear on the resilient seating surface would cause seat failure and leakage.
It has a protective coating of fusionbouded epoxy resin inside and outside, therefore, corrosion protection of all ferrous surfaces is maximized.

The slider valve is "a light-weight and compact" water level-adjusting valve installed in a water tank,which eliminates such defects that water level-adjusting valve such as a globe valve type conventionally have been used,is "complicated in the structure,anxious in jamming of foreign materials,and further large in the whole dimensions".
The slider valve is basically constituted of three parts of a valve case,a body unit such as valve dody,and a lever and a float.

Under high pressure operating conditions,flow and pressure with ordinary valves generate vibration and noise due to cavitation. this can seriously damage both valve & piping.
With kurimoto's Flotus you have a heavy duty compact control valve consisting of two disc with multiple orifices. Flotus control valves use the basic principle of the tapered inlet orifice. During operation there are even distributed jets of water which can be used to control flow and pressure.
The precise machining and exceptional smoothness of the opening act to suppress the affects of cavitation, such as noise vibration and line turbulence.

Sleeve valves are provided with 1)a straight inline type, 2)a submerged discharge type, 3)an angle inline type. Operating principle is based on throttling pressure across multiple openings especially sized, tapered, and positioned around a circular valve port. The valve opening characteristics are normally linear throughout the valve stroke but can be characterized for special applications if required. Control of the valve may be manual, motor operated, or hydraulically actuated with incoming fluid or oil used as the control medium.

Emergency shutting-off valve for water tanks Model RE-30

As soon as the hydraulic pressure in the water main connected to a tank abnormally lowers due to the damage by disaster such as an earthquake and other trouble, the valve detects the pressure difference and shuts off water supply to the tank to change water flow and keep clean water in the tank.
