As Kurimoto’s corporate R&D department, Technology Development Division plays a role in realizing a technology-driven company and the SDGs, supporting the Kurimoto Group's sustainable growth from a technological perspective and working diligently to create new businesses and provide support for existing businesses.

Inheriting the DNA of materials technology with a history of more than 100 years, we have recently expanded into nanotechnology and environmentally friendly materials, and continue to work on the creation of new technology by practicing the principle of "considering new issues by looking back on old matters".

Also, we believe it is important to achieve synergy through the fusion of multiple technologies, for the development of machinery, parts, and devices that maximize the functions of materials, in addition to the practical application and commercialization of not only materials technology (design, prototyping, and manufacturing) but also peripheral technologies such as welding and corrosion prevention technology.

We not only develop technologies, but also work to create business models and supply chains. To ensure that our goals are realized, we focus on the training of engineers and technicians with strong problem-solving abilities and personnel who can coordinate commercialization and business realization.

We will continue to provide total solutions based on the keywords of collaboration and co-creation in the spirit of "Yonpo-yoshi (Four-Way satisfaction)" (good for the seller, good for the buyers, good for the society, and good for the future).
